Sopore , Aug 9: Ahead of 15 August government forces on Monday launched Cordon & Search Operation Sopore’s old town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, which ended peacefully in the afternoon.While addressing media persons SSP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma said that following there were inputs about the presence of militants in the area a cordon and search operation has been launched.It is pertinent to mention that ahead of the 15th August the frisking and random CASOs are very common in Kashmir.
