Bandipora , July 15: A family from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district of Kashmir on Thursday staged a protest seeking police intervention to trace a man who went missing from Punjab.While protesting at Press Enclave Srinagar , the family members of the missing man sought the intervention of Jammu Kashmir police to trace the missing family member.The family members said that they have already lodged a missing report at a police station after one of their members went missing in Ludhiyana city of Punjab. “Man along with his wife was travelling towards the house of his in-laws in Bihar but went missing during his stay in Ludhiyana city.Although his wife reached her home safely in Bihar informed the family of her husband back in Kashmir and they lodged a missing report at the police station, Hajin in this regard.

Sameer Ahmad, one of the family members told CNS that 38 years old labourer Gulzar Ahmed Khan, a resident of Chek Chandergeer, married to a woman from Bihar had gone to visit the house of his in-laws in Bihar along with his wife. He added during his stay in Ludhiyana, he lost contact with his wife and has been missing since then.He further mentioned that his wife after reaching Bihar informed the same to his parents and now a missing report has been lodged in this regard.
