UT Ladakh reports 36 new COVID-19 cases; two death; 19 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sept 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services informed that, UT Ladakh has received a total of 36 positive reports. Out of the total positive reports, 22 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 14 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

With the death of two more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district. The total Covid death of UT has now reached to 46, out of which 20 deaths were from Leh district and 26 deaths were from Kargil
district.

The bulletin further details that
19 patients were discharged today by CMO Leh, after the negative sample report were received by CMO Leh yesterday.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone upto to 953; 503 in Leh district and 450 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 953 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

Out of 22 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 06 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 02 positive sample reports were received from DIHAR Lab Leh, 05
Positive sample reports were received from NCDC New Delhi, and 09 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab Chuchot.

While, out of 14 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 02 positive sample reports were
detected through True Nat, 07 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Testand 05 positive sample reports were received from PGIMER Chandigarh.

Today CMO Kargil sent11 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing.

Similarly, 247 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today.
