Kulgam , Aug 10: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Mohammad Ramzan Mir of Kanchloo Kund area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday donated an ambulance in memory of his mother Itiqa Bano. His mother had died after she had suffered a massive heart attack.The donation of ambulances comes at a time when the whole world is dealing with Covid and ambulances are in great demand to carry critical patients to hospitals. “The donation of the ambulance will help poor and needy patients. I urge more such charitable trusts and donors to come forward and donate medical equipment, so that we could serve the people better in the challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic which has hit the world very badly,” said Mohammad Ramzan Mir.He added that it is a charity and a virtue for his mother.Meanwhile locals of the area have appreciated him for his social work.
