RAJOURI, JUNE 19: Considering its crucial role in economic development, Rajouri administration has laid major focus on broadening and improving road connectivity network in the district after the onset of Lockdown exit.
To generate employment and boost trade and commerce, the district administration, after lockdown relaxations, took up road renovation at a massive scale and completed blacktopping work on over 56 KM PMGSY roads across the district.
The PMGSY department, with its primary objective to expand connectivity to unconnected habitations in the rural areas, blacktopped 10.20 KM Chak Kangrial to Chak Nowabad road; 3.0 KM Kahadrian to Kha road , 4 KM road to Dharamsal; 8.25 KM road to Channi; 6 KM road to Chak Mathaiani; 16.5 KM road to Sialsui; 5 KM road to Pehra and 3.20 Km road from Khawas to Dalheri.
The PMGSY roads blacktopped in the past few days shall cater to the needs of a large rural population and are very significant for accelerating economic development.
