Baramulla 12th August: In a blatant violation of CMO orders, a Zonal Medical Officer Chuntimulla of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, attached with BMO office Bandipora, is yet to join the original place of posting despite being relieved by CMO 17 days ago.Reliable sources told that Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone (Dental Surgeon), who is also ZMO Chuntimulla, is yet to join the original place of posting i,e PHC Chuntimulla despite being relieved by CMO Bandipora on July 26th last month.“On the basis of repeated complaints from employees and as directed by the Director Health Services Kashmir ,Dr Fayaz Ahmad Lone ( Dental Surgeon) presently attached with BMO Office Bandipora is hereby relieved and directed to report to his original place of posting i.e. PHC Chuntimulla with immediate effect,” reads an order issued by CMO Bandipora, dated 26-07-2021.However, in contrast to the CMO orders, the photograph of the attendance register of BMO office Bandipora lying with CNS for the month of August, shows that the same Doctor has been marked as present, thus not relieved.Locals of the area said that they are facing hardships due to non-availability of the Dental Surgeon in Chuntimulla.“If the authorities don’t want to send this doctor to his original place of posting, why can’t they post another doc to ease the hardships of the local populace,” they said.Attempts to contact CMO & BMO & DC Bandipora through calls & Whatsapp messages proved futile as they didn’t respond to repeated calls & whatsapp texts by CNS.
