Srinagar, CNS,, 24-Nov: Three militants were killed in a shootout in the Rambagh area of Srinagar this evening.Police sources told CNS that security agencies were already having inputs about the presence of Militants in the surrounding areas of Srinagar.”We were closely monitoring activities in the areas here and didn’t let any untoward incident occur’, they added. The Gunshots created the atmosphere of panic among the inhabitants of the area. Meanwhile the identity of slain militants is being ascertained,and the area has been cordoned off.Reportedly TRF commander Mehran and Basit were suspected to be Killed along with associates.Meanwhile, DGP said the process of identification is on and bodies have been taken to the police control room.
