Srinagar, 19-Nov:BJP National Executive Member, Party Spokesperson & Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today had a meeting with Chief Minister of Goa Mr Pramod Sawant at Panjim. She was accompanied by CWC members Haneef Ali, T O Naushad and Waseem R Khan.The delegation of Central Waqf Council inspected Sufi shrines and assets & properties of the Minority community in Goa State and also held many meetings with the state departmental heads & field management staff. The delegation also visited many minority areas and talked to the cross section of people.Later Dr Andrabi shared the field inputs with the Chief Minister and expressed her satisfaction over the minority welfare in the state. She urged upon the Chief Minister to formulate a full-fledged State level Waqf Board in Goa as per the Central Waqf Act. In this connection a roadmap document was also presented to Mr Sawant. Dr Andrabi was assured by the Chief Minister that the observations of CWC will be considered seriously and a decision will be taken soon.
