JAMMU, MARCH 13: Department of English at PSPS Govt PG College for Women Gandhinagar, under the guidance of Principal Prof Minu Mahajan, organised an extension lecture on ‘Gender Sensitisation at Workplace: Issues and Challenges’ in collaboration with the G20 Awareness Club.The event was convened by Head of the Department, Dr Jyoti Dutt, who welcomed the guest speaker, HOD of English at CUJ, Dr Vandana Sharma.Dr Sharma, who has years of experience in teaching and research, provided an in-depth analysis of the issues and challenges faced by women in the workplace and the importance of gender sensitivity in organisations. Students participated enthusiastically in the event.Professor Minu Mahajan applauded the department’s efforts in organising the event and encouraged students to participate in such activities, which are relevant to current times and allow for thinking beyond stereotypical parameters.The event was conducted by Dr Chetna Mahajan and the formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr Shakun Mahajan.Other organising committee members included Prof Bindu Sharma, Prof Neelam Thapa, Dr Kiran Kalra, Dr Nidhi Choudhary, Prof Suman Bala, Dr Sheweta Magotra and Dr Fayaz Ahmed.
