3 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;8 patients cured and discharged Leh, Jul 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, all the new positive cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 2022 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1141 and Kargil: 881 were found negative. No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged eight patients yesterday, five in Leh and three in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 108; 82 in Leh and 26 in Kargil district. The bulletin further informs that 1543 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 138 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post and 832 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
