Srinagar: 16th December 2020:
Police Public meeting was held at Police Station Karannagar with Chemists of the area. The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Karan Nagar.
The following issues were raised/discussed in meeting
- Touting (especially at OPD Gate).
- Salesmen should not be without masks/gloves.
- Customers be directed to wear masks/gloves.
- Social distancing at shops during sale/purchase.
- Installation of CCTV cameras in and outside of shops.
Issues put forth by participants
- Street Lights
- Traffic jam/ Wrong parking in front of shops.
- Parking place at Karan Nagar.
- Traffic cops be deployed at OPD of SMHS Hospital.
The above cited issues were discussed in detail. All the participants assured their full co-operation with police. The Police also assured that all issues raised in the meeting will be redressed.
The meeting closed in good atmosphere with note of thanks.
