May 31:Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Ganderbal Police destroyed poppy cultivation in Nunner, Bobsipora, Serch, Arch and Khan Harran areas of Ganderbal.
A police team along with teams of Revenue and Excise Departments destroyed poppy cultivation on massive scale in Nunner, Bobsipora, Serch, Arch and Khan Harran areas of Ganderbal.
General public of the area have appreciated the action of Police and have urged to continue such drive in nearby areas also.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law. Our consistent actions against such anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
