Sep 9 ,Doda: National Conference Doda today paid rich tributes to the founder of party ‘ Sher-e-Kashmir ‘ Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his Death Anniversary.
The 38th Death Anniversary of the veteran party leader was observed by the NC leaders and workers here today under the chsirmanship of senior party leader and district president of NC Doda Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy to pay tributes to the legend.
Speaking on the occasion district president of NC Doda Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy threw light on the life of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and described him the saviour of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state . He said that late Sheikh sahib was the leader of masses who devoted his life in the service of humanity in general and people of J&K in particular
Prominent among other party leaders who were present on the occasion and expressed their views include senior NC leaders Zaffer Ullah Rather , Manan Banday ,chairman Municipal Council Doda Ved Prakash Gupta , Shabir Ahmed Ganaie and others.
