Indian Army organises Medical Camp

SEP 11, 2020 KISHTWAR: As a goodwill gesture and in continuance of its commitment towards welfare of general public, Indian Army organised a medical camp for the locals at village Chandrabany in remote Kontwara region of Kishtwar district. During the camp, COVID-19 kits comprising of face mask, hand sanitiser, liquid soap and other preventive items were distributed to the locals. This noble initiative of the Army was appreciated by the people, who face extreme difficulties and lack of medical facilities in these remote and difficult to access areas. Over 234 people turned up from adjoining areas and availed this facility. This camp will go a long way in alleviating the health issues of local population and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Army and local population.
