Jammu:V. K. Singh, DGP-cum-Commandant General Home Guards/ Civil Defence & SDRF J&K visited (June 17, 2021) DRDO Hospital, Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, accompanied by Dr. Narinder Singh Bhatial Medical Superintendent DRDO Hospital, Dr. Manoj Bhagat Dy. Medical Superintendent, Dr. Sanjey Bhat Dy. Medical Superintendent, Nisha Nathyal Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu, G.L Sharma Staff Officer and territorial police officers. The Commandant General interacted with the 20 SDRF personnel deployed for Covid duty and lauded the role of the personnel for their exemplary performance. In order to boost their morale, the Commandant General announced grant of Commendation Certificates Class-I alongwith cash reward of Rs 2000 each to the SDRF personnel.Earlier, V. K. Singh decorated 40 Officers/ officials of SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu. The officials who were decorated include ASI to SI (15), HC to ASI (03) and SGCT to HC (22). DGP congratulated the promoted officials and encouraged them to re-dedicate themselves to tackle the challenge of the ongoing pandemic.
