JAMMU: September 30, 2020: Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor JMC inaugurates Public Toilet Complex in ward no. 01.
Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineers, Junior Engineers of JMC, Sh. Karan Singh, Naresh Abrol Sh. Ved Prakash Padha, Sh. Gopal Sanotra, Sh. Kuldeep Mehta, Sh. Varinder Verma, Sh. Bhupeshwar Singh, Sh. Vijay Sharma, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Sh. Gopal Magotra, Smt. ShubhLata Sharma, Smt. Anuradha Sharma, Smt. Rama, Smt. Pooja and other prominent citizens of the ward also accompanied the Hon’ble Deputy Mayor during the inauguration.
The alloted cost for the work was 10.5 lakhs in which 2 urinals and 2 bathrooms for men and 2 bathrooms from women and 1 care taker room were to be constructed in the toilet complex.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Purnima Sharma said that the inauguration of the toilet complex was delayed due to the corona virus pandemic and lockdowns but now everything will be back on track as few days back i held a meeting with the Engineering Section in which decisions were taken and as a result of which the developmental work in different wards has already been started and will soon be completed for the welfare of the General Publc.
At the end, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor appealed not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and only to go out when it’s important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
