The Mumbai Police has summoned actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for questioning in connection with a sedition case.
Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel have been asked to appear before the investigating officer on Oct 26 and 27, media reports said.
A First Information Report was registered against them last week following an order from the Mumbai Magistrate’s court.
The actor had even said that she no more feels safe in Mumbai and compared the city with Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The 33-year-old actor said the demolition bid by the BMC was just a vendetta as she spoke over Sushant’s death and the ‘nexus between Shiv Sena and the Bollywood mafia’.
Following this, Ranaut had left the city and gone back to her hometown Manali last month.
