The NSS unit of Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu today on 5th of Sep. 2021 organized an online National Digital Poster making competition to celebrate “National Teachers Day 2021” under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav- Celebration of India’s 75 years of Independence. The event held under the patronage of college Principal Dr. Sameru Sharma. She congratulated all the teachers for inspiring and nurturing the students to march in the right direction. She appreciated their constant endeavour in bringing GCET, Jammu to such a great height. She said that the year 2020 brought the biggest challenge for them and they were at forefront for the changes that COVID-19 pandemic has forced them to make. A total number of 45 participants from different colleges J&K UT participated in the event with great enthusiasm and zeal. They beautifully presented their ideas regarding the symbiotic relationship of teacher-student through their posters. The event was organized by NSS volunteers under the guidance of NSS Programme officer Dr. Raman Gupta. He applauded and congratulated all the NSS volunteers for organizing such kind of event. The Ist position was shared by Vijay Rathore and Sakshi Bhat while the 2nd position was shared by Mandeep Singh & Mohd. Sami and the third position was grabbed by Jaanvi Sharma. All the other participants will get e-certificates for participation.
