Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant and recovered arms and ammunition in Malikpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.Official said that government forces intercepted a three-wheeler at Malikpora, Pulwama on Tuesday night. During search, the forces recovered one AK 7 rifle and magazine, they said.The driver of the (auto) vehicle was identified as Mudasir Ahmad and is being questioned.
A case under various sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated in this regard.
