Srinagar,17-Feb: Current News Service media group has expressed profound condolences over the demise of Mother of Senior Journalist Masood Ahmad, who passed away yesterday after brief illness at her residence in Saderbal Srinagar.In a condolences message, Editor in Chief, Rasheed Rahi termed her demise as extremely unfortunate while stating that the deceased was a pious lady endowed with the qualities of kindness and warm hospitality. “Parting away with loved ones is an irretrievable loss that can never be compensated with anything else in the world. My heartfelt prayers and solidarity goes out to the bereaved family members in this time of gloom. I also pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the bereaved family members, especially Masood Ahmad, to bear this huge loss,” he said.The office management also prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of the Jannat and much needed strength to the bereaved, particularly Masood sahib to bear the loss with fortitude. Sharing in the grief of the deceased, they expressed unison with the bereaved.Meanwhile,has expressed condolence and solidarity with senior photojournalist Syed Muzaffar of Srinagar Times over the demise of his father.
