Pulwama Court Convicts 2 among 3 accused in Murder And robbery case Of 19-Year-Old Boy

    Srinagar, 04-Feb; A local court in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has convicted two among accused persons in a murder and robbery case after eleven years of the commission of crime.As per a judgement, a copy of which lies with the court of Principal District and Sessions judge Pulwama stated that both the accused persons who were involved in the killing of a 19 years old Khursheed Ahmad Wani Son of Nissar Ahmad Wani Resident of Babahar have been convicted.The accused persons identified as Sameer Ahmad Sheikh Son of Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh resident of Deeri Murran District Pulwama and Javid Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Nabi Shah Resident of Babahar Pulwama have been convicted under sections 302 read with section 34,392 and 396 of RPC. However, approver Abdul Rashid Dar Son of Abdul Karim Dar Resident of Murran Pulwama appeared in the court and Deposed against the convicts.While delivering the judgment, the Court came to the conclusion that the two accused in- furtherance of common intention caused the death of the deceased namely, Khursheed Ahmad Wani,who was of the age of 19 years at the time of death. The accused No.1 administered fatal blow upon the head of the deceased, while accused No.2 was holding his legs in the Tin Shed of the approver. Sources told , that the deceased was taken by the convicts in their custody with common intention to snatch the money from his possession, which his grandfather had given to him for purchase of books and payment of school fee as the deceased was reading in Maxwell Public School Pulwama in B.A Ist year and was seen in the company of the accused immediately before his murder on 02-11- 2011.Later, accused persons dumped the body of the deceased under the heap of cow dung in the land of Jagarnath at Murran Pulwama on 02.04.2011.The dead body was recovered by the Police and the First Information Report was registered in Police Station Pulwama on 02-04-2011 and accordingly, Prosecution produced and examined 37 witnesses out of 38, including the medical and expert evidence.The case was committed to the Court of Sessions on 08.06.2011 and Accused No.3 was declared as Approver and granted pardon as he had also participated in the commission of the offence.Meanwhile, the case is scheduled to will come up for arguments and punishment for the accused on 5th Feb.(CNS)
