In the ongoing league matches of Kashmir Premier League T-20 cricket championship which is being organised by Army’s Chinar Corps in Kashmir Valley, Kupwara Fliers the selected team of district Kupwara registered another win.They won the first league match of their pool against Shahi Shopian at Batpura Stadium in Shopian town.Today’s match was played at Jhelum stadium in Baramulla. Baramulla Greens won the toss and decided to field first. Kupwara Fliers scored 190 for 6 in alloted 20 overs.Baramulla Greens were all out in 13.4 overs and they scored 113 runs. Kupwara team won by 77 runs.Malik Waseem of Trehgam, a PG student who has been playing cricket for almost 10 years, scored 102 runs in 66 balls was declared Man of the Match. Other notable performances were by Nasir Ganie of Baramulla with 42 runs in 18 balls and Raees Peer of Awoora, Kupwara 20 runs in 3 overs and took 4 wickets.
