Baramulla, 09- Dec: A well-known cricketer from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district who was injured in a road accident last week succumbed to his injuries in Srinagar hospital on Thursday.Tariq Ahmed Mir (27), a local star cricketer from Janwara area of apple town Sopore had sustained critical injuries when his motor-cycle (JK05B-5122) was hit by a speeding vehicle on Sopore -Bandipora road near Hathlangoo area.As per the sources, Mir was undergoing treatment at SKIMS Soura where he breathed his last this morning.Meanwhile, a formal case has been registered in this regard and further investigations have been initiated by the police.(CNS)
