HCBA Seeks Postponement Of Mains Exam For Prosecuting Officer

    Srinagar, 25-Jan; To discuss the postponement of the Mains examination of the Prosecuting Officer in view of the present prevailing Covid-19 (Omicron) pandemic situation, the J&K High Court Bar Association, Srinagar held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Mr.N.A Ronga Advocate Chairman J&k HCBA Srinagar.The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, unanimously resolved that the present situation is not cordial to conduct the main examination of Prosecuting Officer in view of the community spread of Covid-19 (Omicron) variant as the same is reflected in the recent Central Government Health Committee Report.HCBA Srinagar in a statement issued to said that HCBA has received a number of representations from the aspirants appearing in the said examinations and have requested to take off the issue with concerned authorities including J&k public service commission for postponement of the said examinations in view of the grave and serious pandemic situation reviling in the state .It is also pointed out that examinations is to be conducted by the PSC from 31-01-2022 to 10-02-2022 and many of the reports are suggesting that the same period is the peak of 3rd wave and in view of the same it is impossible for the aspirants of the PO main examination to participate in the present circumstances.HCBA accordingly called upon all the concerned authorities to postpone the Main examinations in recruitment process of prosecuting officers as conducting by J&K public service commission.
