Baramulla, 17-Feb: More than half dozen People have booked for Sand Loot and damaging Public Property in Pattan area of Baramulla District.According to CNS Baramulla Police under the supervision of SSP Baramulla, Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS), SDPO Pattan Nawaz Khanday (KPS) ,SHO Pattan Nisar Ahmad and SI Dar Aeraf DO Police Post Mirgund arrested More than half dozen persons for illegal sand extraction and damaging Public Property at Daslipora-Khanpeth Singhpora from Nale Sukhnag areas of Baramulla.Locals told that the illegal sand extraction at several places of Singpora Pattan has been at its peak since past few days which has caused severe damages to the river banks at these Places for which for which they have requested Police administration to take Strict action them for Creating Problems for general publicMeanwhile FIR vide FIR No 41 U/S 188, 379, 447, 3 PPD act was registered in Police Station Pattan and further investigations have been initiated.
