Budgam, 10-Feb; Budgam Police on Thursday arrested five persons involved in illegal excavation and transportation of clay, 05 tippers seized.In a statement issued to media, the police spokesperson said that Police station Budgam received a reliable information that some tippers are illegally extracting sand/soil from government land. Acting on this information, a naka was established at Nasrullahpora Budgam.Police party arrested 05 persons and seized five tippers on spot while illegally transporting clay. Registration number of Seized tippers are JKO4B 2327, JK01G 4106 ,JKO9 2519, JK09 3637, JK01M 4081.The arrested persons have been identified as Imran Ali Resident of Bemina Khomeni Chowk , Syed Mudasir resident of wahpora, Arshid Hussain Mir resident of Katipora Nasrullahpora, Abid Hussain Malla resident of Dargund Bemina and Manzoor Ahmed Wani resident of Bemina.“Case FIR number 29/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation set into motion”,it reads.(CNS)
