Kulgam, 20-Nov: An encounter broke out between security forces and militants in the Mahagund Ashmuji area of South Kashmir’s kulgam district on Saturday.An official informed that a joint team of police, Army and CRPF, after receiving information about the presence of militants, launched a search operation in the area.#KulgamEncounterUpdate: 01 unidentified Militantt killed. #Operation going on. Sources told that the exchange of fire between security forces and militants is on and more than two militants are believed to be trapped in the area Earlier on Tuesday, two encounters took place in the Kulgam district in which five militants were killed by the security forces.The Security forces were informed about the presence of militants in two areas of Kulgam district after which, the search operation was started.The Jammu and Kashmir police had informed that the TRF commander was also among those who were killed in this hour-long encounter.
