Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh is recovering satisfactorily after he was admitted to Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon on Tuesday last with symptoms of COVID -19 and a positive RT-PCR test. He will, however, continue to be in the hospital for the next few days for regular monitoring.An update issued here today stated that all the clinical and biochemical parameters in case of Dr Jitendra Singh had gradually returned to normal. He was now under the prescribed medical monitoring in the hospital.It was further stated that Dr Jitendra Singh had been subjected to all the COVID related investigations including the CT-Scan Chest. He was also given a complete course of required medication including Remedisviar.Dr Jitendra Singh had developed symptoms of COVID and tested positive soon after he returned to the national capital this week after a tour of his Lok Sabha constituency. Earlier, he had been continuously travelling for the last nearly four months, first for the District Development Council election campaign in Jammu & Kashmir, later for Assembly election campaign in Assam and followed by Assembly by-election campaign in Mizoram.Meanwhile, Dr Jitendra Singh has thanked all his Ministerial colleagues, Party leaders, Karyakartas, well-wishers, media persons and others for their continuous messages of good wishes and good health.
