Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer visited Government Medical College Hospital and met those injured in two separate accidents, here today.At Ramgarh, a portion of the shuttering/slab of an under construction bridge at Kaulpur Samba collapsed which resulted in injuries to 27 workers/labourers. In a road mishap, 19 persons were injured when a matador met with an accident at Suketar Kud.The Divisional Commissioner interacted with the injured and their attendants and assured best medical support. He also directed the Medical Staff to provide best possible treatment to the injured.It was informed that 16 injured from Kud and 18 from Samba were referred to GMCH Jammu.Medical Superintendent informed that 3 from Kud and 1 from Samba are seriously injured while other are with minor injuries.The Div Com directed the hospital administration to provide best treatment and also directed that referral to be done if required.The Div Com also directed the Deputy Commissioner Samba for initiating inquiry into the matter.Div Com was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Samba, DDC Member, Suchetgarh, Medical Superintendent GMCH and other concerned officers.
