Jammu,11-Feb;: DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq has expressed her gratitude to Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha for writing and raising the demand of upgradation of RD Kangan Barnoi from PII to PI with the Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh.In a statement issued to CNS, Nuzhat said that on behalf of my people, fellow DDC Members and other PRIs thank the LG Manoj Sinha, for raising the long pending demand of people of Ganderbal and Gurez in Bandipora district. The road, besides being of strategic importance for defence holds lot of promise in terms of promoting trade, healthcare and education sector in Gurez, which largely remains cut off during the winter season.It is pertinent to mention here that the above demand was raised by DDC Chairperson Ganderbal along with other PRIs during their recent meeting with the LG.(CNS)
