Srinagar, 18-Sep. The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday strongly condemned the killing of Railway Cop and non-local labourer in Neehama area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.JKPCC expressed deep shock over the killing of duo and conveyed heartfelt condolences to bereaved families.In a statement, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee termed the killing of Railway Cop Bantu Sharma and non-local labourer Shankar Chowdhary as ghastly act aiming to vitiate atmosphere and demanded that perpetrators of the crime should be identified for exemplary punishment.JKPCC strongly condemned the killings and said such senseless incidents won’t yield any results.JKPCC also expressed serious concern over the current security situation.Govt needs to take effective measures to ensure peaceful atmosphere besides containing killing of cops and civilians JKPCC added and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family of railway cop and non-local labourer and sympathized with them.(CNS)
