Monitoring Desk; In a dramatic shootout inside a courtroom in Delhi’s Rohini, three persons, including a dreaded gangster- Jitendra Gogi, were killed on Friday. The incident happened in court number 206 when Jitendra was presented before the judge.The attackers, dressed as lawyers, opened fire on Jitendra, killing him on the spot. The Delhi Police’s Special Cell killed the two attackers in the ensuing shootout. The attackers are believed to be from the Tillu Tajpuria gang.The shootout left four people dead and one woman lawyer injured. Around 35-40 rounds were fired during the incident.Jitendra was arrested from Gurugram two years ago by the Special Cell. Special Cell officials said there were more than 50 people in Jitendra Gogi’s network.“Two assailants in the uniform of advocate fired upon Gogi in court, following which police also opened fire,” said Rohini DCP Pranav Tayal. Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana added that the killers, who belonged to the ‘Tillu’ gang were “neutralised” by the officers. He clarified that it was “not a gang war”.Jitender Gogi, a notorious gangster involved in several criminal cases and jailed at Tihar, was being produced in court when members of the rival “Tillu gang” entered the court, dressed as lawyers, and opened fire.
