*November 01: Closing ceremony of Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament-2020 organised by District Police Kulgam was held at Sports Stadium Kulgam.
On the closing ceremony, the final match of the tournament was played between Manzgam Cricket Club and Qaimoh Cricket Club. Qaimoh Cricket Club won the final match and lifted the trophy. Aadil Ahmad of Qaimoh Cricket Club was adjudged as Man of the series for his alround contribution in all formats of game throughout the tournament and Mujeeb Ahmad of Qaimoh Cricket Club who took a brilliant Hatrick was declared as man of the match.
SP Kulgam Shri Gurinderpal Singh-IPS was the chief guest of the event besides DySP HQRS, DySP DAR Kulgam and SHO Kulgam were also present on the event.
SP Kulgam while interacting with participants congratulated them for their extraordinary efforts put forth by them with which they managed their places in grand final of the tournament and assured them that Kulgam police is always at their door steps for any assistance. Speaking on the occasion he laid emphasis on the importance of organising such events for generating gestures of goodwill and enhances sportsmanship to promote budding talent such a platform so that they can exhibit their talent towards positive direction.
A large gathering also witnessed the closing ceremony and expressed their gratitude towards Kulgam police and appreciated them for organizing such events.
